Estimator
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
1. Ensures all needed documents are complete, updated and reviewed.
2. Identifies and reviews respective scope items prior to starting the take off which includes but is not limited to the following: checks for conflicts, reference drawing correctness, clarifications needed, buy-out items or any questions.
3. Reads all pertinent specification sections to understand each scope item; takes note any needed clarifications or possible buy-out items or any item which is not clear and should be brought to the attention.
4. Checks math and quantities as well as correct table of weights.
5. Ensures that notes are made to special items such as finishes, special manufacturers and materials buy-out items.
6. Answers to questions related to take offs.
7. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned.
Job Specifications

- Education Requirements
GMust be a graduate of BS – Engineering or BS - Architecture.

- Work Experience
At least has work experience as an Estimator ( internship or full time work ).

- Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge in material quantity take off, computer literate especially MS Excel and Word, has problem solving ability and keen attention to details.
Can communicate well verbally and in writing, must be flexible, able to meet tight schedules, team player, has a positive attitude and must have patience.
